STUDY IN CANADA
Canada has the highest rate of post-secondary educational attainment in the world. Tuition fees are also relatively affordable compared to those of other developed countries. To come to Canada to study, you generally need to apply for a study permit.

Eligibility to study in Canada:

1. Obtain a Letter of Acceptance from a designated learning institution in Canada

2. Show proof of funds for:

  • Tuition fee
  • Living expenses for yourself and any accompanying family members
  • Return transportation for yourself and any accompanying family members

3. Submit a police certificate with no criminal record

4. Complete a medical examination, if necessary

5. Satisfy an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay

APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE (PR) AFTER GRADUATION

* FEDERAL IMMIGRATION PROGRAM ADVANTAGES FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES
Canada’s Express Entry system provides a faster processing time for permanent residency appplications. Under this system, applicants are ranked on a point-based system, with the highest-ranking candidates being invited to apply for permanent residency. One of the immigration programs under Express Entry is the Canadian Experience Class which allows temporary workers who have gained at least one year of Canada work experience to apply for permanent residency. For international graduates who have acquired sufficient work experience while on their post-graduation work permit, this program serves as a faster and simple option to obtain permanent residency.
* QUEBEC: PEQ – STUDENT CATEGORY
The PEQ –Québec graduate is aimed at you if you have obtained an eligible Québec diploma, or you are in the process of doing so, and you have an advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French (B2)

Qualifications:

  • Have the intention of settling in Québec to hold a job
  • Have lived temporarily in Québec with the primary goal of studying and have respected the conditions of your stay
  • Have lived in Québec for at least half of the duration of your study program
  • Hold an eligible Québec diploma or expect to complete your study program within six months of the date of submission of your application
  • Demonstrate advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French (B2)
  • Undertake to provide for your needs and, where applicable, those of your spouse or de facto spouse and dependent children included in your application for a Certificatde sélectiondu Québec, for a minimum period of 3 months
  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid passport and, if you are submitting your application from Québec, be legally residing in Québec at the time of submission of your application
Advantages of PEQ – Quebec Graduate:Processing time is very short. An application deemed complete will receive a priority treatment of 20 days or less for Certificat de selection du Quebec.
