“Hilton Garden Inn Évora, the result of a 21-million-euro investment by Mercan Properties”.

This hotel is the first investment by the Mercan group to open its doors in Alentejo, a region where it already has four hotel projects. Hilton Garden Inn Évora offers a prestigious location to its visitors, just a few minutes away from the historic center of the city of Évora, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

With an area of more than eight thousand square meters, Hilton Garden Inn Évora has 130 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, bar, restaurant, gym, and meeting room with a capacity for up to 50 people.

This new hotel is the result of the Residence Permits for Investment activities regime, and therefore demonstrative of the potential of this type of regime to effectively create wealth, tourism attractiveness and employment”.

Mercan Properties anticipates that Hilton Garden Inn Évora will create 95 direct jobs with the start of operations and, in addition to these, also contributed to the creation of 80 jobs during the construction period of the development, which began on May 2021, with the laying of the first stone.
